Transform Your Game Room (and Staircase) with a Custom Mural

When I first met the client, she expressed her insecurity with designing around her husband's three pinball machines, which she felt clashed with the room's decor.

We decided to incorporate the machines into the design since they symbolized family fun. After selecting the colors from the characters on the machines, we painted a purple background with a green moon, reminiscent of the Joker's colors, to create a vibrant and playful atmosphere.

Here you can see the purple background adds life to the space.

Since the client has a sentimental outlook on "777" we had to incorporate the number into the artwork by representing it on four of the buildings.

As we continued painting, we added more characters to represent each of the grandchildren, making the artwork even more meaningful.

The final result is a beautiful space where the family can come together to play and hang out. The pinball machines now complement the wall perfectly.

Additionally, we extended the color scheme into the attached spare bedroom, using high gloss paints against a flat white backdrop to create a clean and modern look. Around the corner we continued the color theme with a small painting on the stairs.

This small mural just outside the game room has the same color theme, but adds a very sophisticated feel to a space that would otherwise go unnoticed.

The end result is a fantastic game room and guest area that holds special meaning for everyone in the family. Transforming your game room, staircase (or any room) with a custom mural is an exciting and creative endeavor.
